Florida fans know at least one thing they want for Christmas, and that’s an offensive line.
Well, the Gators have a real shot at securing one of the nation’s top offensive linemen in the Class of 2016 as Terrance Davis, the nation’s No. 2 offensive guard, released his final three on Twitter. That trio includes Florida, which is in the running with Michigan and Maryland.
That effectively eliminates Georgia, UCLA and Alabama from his top candidates.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder out of DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, Md.) has yet to take an official visit to Florida. However, Gators offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier did conduct an in-home visit with Davis before the dead period started on Dec. 14.
Davis will announce his commitment at the Under Armour All-America game on Jan. 2.
