After missing the final 12:58 of the second half and full overtime period on Friday, Tyree Appleby will be back in action on Sunday night.
Florida basketball spokesperson Denver Parler tweeted that Appleby has been cleared to play and will be in the starting lineup as 7-seed UF takes on 15-seed Oral Roberts in the Round of 32 (7:45 p.m. ET, TruTV).
Appleby is dealing with a facial reaction after taking an elbow in the First Round game against 10-seed Virginia Tech. Florida trailed 44-38 at the time of Appleby’s exit. The Gators managed a 75-70 win over the Hokies in overtime.
