Despite his commitment, Williams continued to receive interest from other programs. He took official visits to Michigan State and South Carolina over the past two weeks.
However, it appears he will not take any other visits during his recruitment.
Williams, a 3-star prospect, was a big target for the Gators in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 115 offensive tackle in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He initially received an offer from Florida back in April.
Williams attends Charles Hebert Flowers High School in Maryland. He’s listed at 6-foot-7, 310 pounds.
Florida has 17 commits in the class of 2024, including 12 from blue-chip prospects. The group sits at No. 4 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
