Florida DL commit Cameron Williams tweets ‘just business,’ flips commitment to Miami

On the same night that Florida landed a commitment from elite playmaker in WR Justin Watkins for the class of 2018, it lost a commitment to 2019 DL Cameron Williams.

Williams announced on his Twitter page that it was just a business decision and flipped his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes. He had been committed to Florida since July 22, 2017, but Miami and Mark Richt have moved into the picture with the coaching change at Florida.

Williams, from Hollywood, Florida, is rated a 3-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 30 overall WDE and the state’s No. 70 overall player for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
