Florida isn’t expected to look outside of the SEC for its new athletic director, according to USA TODAY’s Dan Wolken.
With a press conference scheduled for Tuesday, the Gators will likely name Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin to the position longtime AD Jeremy Foley is vacating:

Stricklin graduated from Mississippi State in 1992 and has served as the school’s director of athletics since 2010.
Foley has been Florida’s AD since 1992.
