Florida drops again in latest CFP rankings after ugly OT win vs. FAU

Florida nearly took a hard fall against Florida Atlantic, surviving 20-14 in overtime. However, they did take a huge tumble in the latest College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday night.

The Gators dropped from No. 8 to No. 12 after yet another less-than-impressive win.

Florida finishes up its SEC regular season slate against rival Florida State before playing in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 5.

The top 4 teams in the final CFP rankings will be released at noon ET on Dec. 6, and those teams will play for the national championship.
