The Gators have swiped one of the top running back prospects in the nation from North Carolina, as four-star Adarius Lemons flipped from UNC to Florida Sunday evening.

The 6-foot, 195-pound Clearwater, Fla., native is rated as the No. 8 running back prospect in the nation and the No. 25 prospect in Florida by 247Sports Composite Ratings, Lemons also holds offers from Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Arizona State and Ohio State among others.

Florida now has 12 total commitments lined up for the 2017 recruiting class. The addition of Lemons helped the Gators jump from the No. 23 overall recruiting class to the No. 17 class, according to 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
