A Florida freshman wide receiver expected to contribute this fall is reportedly dealing with an injury that will sideline him in fall camp.
Nick Marcinko of Gator Country is reporting that Dallas Wilson will be out for “a couple of weeks” due to a lower-leg injury that has him in a hard cast below the left knee.

The No. 35 overall prospect for 2025 on the 247Sports Composite, Wilson was one of the top signees in Florida’s 2025 recruiting class. The Tampa Bay Tech product originally inked with Oregon, but changed his mind. He requested his release and enrolled at UF, joining Billy Napier‘s program in time for spring practice.
Wilson landing in Gainesville excited the Florida fanbase, and the hype train picked up significant steam when he turned in a monster Orange and Blue game performance. In the spring game, Wilson caught 10 passes for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns.
While camp injuries are concerning, especially for freshmen, the Gators are more than 3 weeks out from taking the field. Florida opens the season on Aug. 30 at home against Long Island University. In Week 2, UF hosts USF before the road trip to LSU for the SEC opener in Week 3.
