We have great news to share regarding former Florida running back Ciatrick Fason as the former Gator rusher has landed a high school head coaching job.

Not only that, Fason is the new head coach at his alma mater, Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Fla.

During his time in Gainesville, Fason rushed for 1,877 yards and 14 touchdowns in three seasons of play. He went on to become a fourth-round selection of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2005 NFL Draft.

He played two seasons in the NFL, rushing for 161 yards and five touchdowns.

“It feels great to be back home, and in a position that I have wanted since I started coaching high school football. We are a young team, but being young allows me to build the culture how I want it,” Fason said following the news.
