Florida published its official injury report for its game against Texas A&M on Wednesday night — and it’s not good news for the Gators.
A total of 10 Florida players have already been ruled out for this weekend’s game against the Aggies per the injury report. Additionally, 6 more players are deemed “questionable” as of Wednesday evening.
The list of players who are questionable include leading receiver Eugene Wilson and starting defensive lineman TJ Searcy.
The report, however, does not include starting quarterback Graham Mertz, who missed UF’s Week 2 game against Samford with a concussion. That would seem to indicate that Mertz will not have any limitations this weekend against the Aggies.

Many of those absences are expected given that they stem from injuries that occurred during fall camp. However, there are a couple of surprises such as Searcy and Wilson. Defensive back Ja’Keem Jackson is another recent injury — he hobbled off the field during Florida’s Week 2 win.
Although Mertz is healthy, Florida could still turn to quarterback DJ Lagway if things aren’t going well against Texas A&M. Head coach Billy Napier indicated plans to get Lagway involved in the offense moving forward after his stellar debut against Samford.
SEC teams are required to submit initial injury reports to the conference on Wednesdays beginning this season. Teams will also have to issue updates to those reports on Thursday and Fridays before league games. A final report is expected to be made public 90 minutes before kickoff of every SEC game.
Florida will host Texas A&M at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
