Dan Mullen’s Florida squad beat arch-rival Florida State 41-14 in Tallahassee on Saturday. He has a reason to keep celebrating.

Miami Carol City RB Nay’Quan Wright announced his commitment to the Gators Saturday night. A 4-star running back, Wright has long been linked to UF, but also had scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida State and Georgia. He missed his junior season due to an ankle injury.

Wright, who measures 5-8, 188 pounds, is rated the No. 15 running back, No. 38 Florida product and No. 264 recruit overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He is pledge No. 16 in Florida’s 2019 class. Nine of those 16 commitments are 4-star recruits.
