Many Florida fans are anxious to see Florida add more commitments to the class of 2019, but Dan Mullen’s staff is recruiting for multiple classes. On Monday, big news came for the class of 2021.
St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) strong-side defensive end Tyreak Sapp announced that he has pledged to the Gators. While he does not have a Composite recruiting ranking yet, 247Sports rates him 4-stars, No. 7 strong-side defensive end, No. 12 recruit in Florida and No. 83 prospect overall nationally.
Sapp kept his announcement short and sweet using his Twitter account to share a graphic saying he has committed.
Sapp becomes the fifth pledge for Florida in the 2021 class, already ranked No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 nationally before the announcement. Highlights of Sapp, listed at 6-2, 255 pounds, can be viewed below:
