Saturday night in Gainesville, 26-year-old Parker Lee Prince found the Florida football team’s injury cart parked outside The Swamp with the keys in it. Four hours later, his joyride was over.

According to a report in the Gainesville Sun, Prince, of Gainesville, was apprehended by police at 2:30 a.m. roughy three miles away from the stadium outside a local gas station where he had driven the cart, valued at $10,000. During Prince’s ride on the cart, he reportedly caused an estimated $1,000 worth of damage to the fender.

Prince was charged with criminal mischief and grand theft with property damage. He was booked into the Alachua County jail.

We’ll see if the damaged cart is needed for Florida’s home finale Saturday at noon ET against Idaho.
