Dan Mullen’s 2019 class at Florida got a huge boost Thursday with a commitment from 4-star OLB Tyron Hopper.
A product of Roswell (Ga.), Hopper made his commitment roughly three weeks after taking an unofficial visit to UF campus. Listed at 6-2, 205 pounds, Hopper is ranked the No. 22 outside linebacker and No. 36 Georgia product in the 2019 class by the 247Sports Composite. At No. 332 nationally, he is the highest-rated pledge in UF’s current class. Hopper had SEC offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Hopper made his announcement via Twitter, where he shared a lengthy note along with a couple graphics and a photo with his recruiter and future position coach, Christian Robinson.
