Florida players, fans troll Joe Milton over ‘I don’t lose in Florida’ remark

Joe Milton stirred up some trouble in the SEC when the Tennessee quarterback reflected on the bowl win over Clemson, and said about playing close to home: “I don’t lose in Florida. I took that one to the heart. Pretty much take every game to the heart, but I don’t lose in Florida.”

Florida players filed that one away, and used it to troll the Tennessee QB after the Gators knocked off the Vols.

Trevor Etienne ran for a career-high 172 yards and a touchdown to lead Florida to an upset over Tennessee, 29-16, on Saturday night to extend the Volunteers’ losing streak in Gainesville to 10.

The Vols had a rough night from the start, and have dropped 17 of 19 in the series. They were whistled for 5 false starts and burned a pair of timeouts early in the second half to avoid delay-of-game penalties.
