Billy Napier had a reward for Florida players upon their completion of the “Identity” phase of the Gators’ offseason program. Napier showed off a new Jordan Brand shoe for Gator players in a video shared by the team’s official Twitter account. The players reacted enthusiastically.

When Napier was initially introduced, he discussed dividing each season into 8 phases. Identity is Phase 2. Spring practice, up next, is Phase 3.

So our football plan is broken into 8 phases. I’ll give you the quick version here — foundation, identity, spring practice, discretionary period, summer regimen, training camp, in season and postseason.

Florida will begin its first spring practice under Napier on March 15. Friday was the last day of class at UF before 2022 spring break. Classes resume on March 14. The Gators’ Orange and Blue spring game is set for April 16.
