Florida is kicking off spring practices under first-year head coach Billy Napier this week.

Excitement is high in Gainesville as the Gators try to right the ship after a disastrous 6-7 campaign in 2021.

On Thursday, the Gators shared a look at Napier mic’d up during the first practice of the spring session, featuring a lot of discussion with the quarterbacks:

Anthony Richardson and Emory Jones are battling for the starting QB job this offseason. It’s unlikely that a starter will be named this spring, but that’s a key battle for Napier to watch.

The annual Orange and Blue spring game will be held on Saturday, April 16, at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
