Kingsley Eguakun went to the podium on Thursday at SEC Media Days. He talked about the upcoming 2023 season.
One of the questions that reporters asked him was which team is the most challenging opponent on Florida’s schedule. Eguakun didn’t have an answer, but noted that he can’t wait for another shot at Florida State.
“I know everybody works pretty hard but I can tell you who I’m most excited to play is FSU,” said Eguakun. “I don’t like those guys at all so I’m excited to go after them for sure.”

Eguakun has been at Florida since 2019, so he has played against the Seminoles a few times already. Florida State snapped a three-game losing streak to the Gators last season.
It won’t be any easier for Florida State this time around as the matchup will be in Gainesville this season.
Eguakun has been a staple on the Florida offensive line the last few seasons and will be looking continue that role in 2023. He played all 13 games for the Gators in 2022 at center.
The Gators and Seminoles will meet in the last game of the regular season on Nov. 25. No channel or time has been announced just yet, but the matchup will definitely be fun to watch.
