Florida State fans, media react to Alabama’s loss in College Football Playoff

Florida State fans had some fun at Alabama’s expense after the Tide were knocked out of the College Football Playoff on Monday night.

Alabama lost 27-20 to Michigan in overtime at the Rose Bowl. The Crimson Tide narrowly made the CFP over an undefeated Florida State team after they beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

The selection committee noted FSU’s struggles at quarterback after Jordan Travis’ injury as a reason why Alabama was selected over FSU for the No. 4 seed. However, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had plenty of inefficiency issues in this game against Michigan.

Milroe threw for just 116 yards on 23 attempts against Michigan in the loss. He did rush for 63 yards, but was stuffed on the final play in overtime to seal the win for Michigan.
