Florida State vs. Boston College: CFB fans, media stunned as No. 10 FSU struggles early

The Florida State Seminoles have had a nightmare start to their 2024 season.
After falling to Georgia Tech in Week 0, the Seminoles were hoping to get back on track by defeating conference opponent Boston College in Week 1 in Tallahassee.
Instead, the Noles were stuck in a 14-0 hole deep into the 2nd quarter. The Noles failed to get a single 1st down on their first three drives and accumulated just 16 total yards halfway through the 2nd.
QB DJ Uiagalelei got off to another dreadful start. With a short field, he led FSU to a scoring drive that ended in a field goal. The Noles had a shot at a significant momentum swing on a 13-play, 70-yard drive. Uiagalelei, however, missed multiple targets in the end zone and drive ended with a second field goal. Uiagalelei is 8-of-21 passing for 108 yards.
Boston College QB Thomas Castellanos, meanwhile, has gone 9 for his first 12 for 102 yards and 1 TD. It’s safe to say social media is ablaze with fans and analysts alike roasting the Noles for another uninspired half of football.
