Apparently, Florida has found a home at a particular spot in the AP Poll.

For the third straight week, UF maintains the same ranking by remaining at No. 11 in the latest AP Poll released on Sunday afternoon.

The Gators were far from impressive in their 9-7 win over one of the worst teams in the conference, needing a 43-yard field goal with 2:22 left to take the lead and secure the win. The Gators won despite losing the turnover battle 4-0 against the Commodores.

However, Florida clinched the SEC East and a berth in the SEC Championship with the victory in coach Jim McElwain’s first year on the sidelines in Gainesville. It’s the school’s first appearance in the title game since 2009.

Meanwhile in the Coaches Poll, Florida moved up a couple spots to No. 10.

The rest of the schedule sees Florida travel to South Carolina before finishing the season with two games in The Swamp against two in-state foes, Florida Atlantic and Florida State.
