Florida turf staff fires shot at Tennessee leading up to Week 4 SEC East showdown

Even the grounds crew down in Gainesville is piling on the Vols these days.

Tennessee has gotten off to a terrible start going 1-2 out of the gate. This comes after most predicted the Vols to go 3-0 with three nonconference matchups to start the second season of the Jeremy Pruitt era — Tennessee was a favorite in each matchup.

Leading up to the first conference game of the season for the Vols, Tennessee is heading to Gainesville to face an undefeated Gator team that is currently a two-touchdown favorite to win in The Swamp.

On Friday, Florida’s turf staff shared an update from Gainesville, where the painting of the end zones has just been wrapped up. Included in the update is a shot fired at the Vols:
