It happened so fast, third-ranked Ole Miss wasn’t sure what hit them.

Florida improved to 5-0 on Saturday night with an impressive beatdown of the Rebels, jumping from No. 25 to No. 11 in today’s Week 6 Associated Press Top 25.

The Gators improved the 3-0 in the SEC with the victory and lead the Eastern Division following Georgia’s loss to Alabama. Florida jumped out to a 25-0 lead at intermission and frustrated Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly throughout the contest.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Will Grier connected on a 24 of his 29 pass attempts for 271 yards and four touchdowns, creating even more separation between himself and sophomore Treon Harris.
