After Kevin Sumlin was fired by Texas A&M following another lackluster finish to the season, he quickly landed on his feet, locking down the Arizona job.
Apparently, he’ll have a familiar face joining him in Tucson, as one of his former Texas A&M offensive linemen will transfer.
According to a report from GoAZCats.com, former Aggie OL Robert Congel will head west to join the Wildcats this coming season:
Arizona will add Texas A&M OL Robert Congel to its roster this season. He played in five games as a freshman with the Aggies last year — https://t.co/OLdojGc97b pic.twitter.com/wRtR6Exg5c

Congel played in five games this past season. He’ll have to sit out the 2018 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he’ll have three years of eligibility remaining starting in 2019.
Clearly, Congel liked playing for Sumlin, and it’s possible he could have a big role for the Wildcats down the road.
