Following scary hit, Florida’s Kyle Trask, Auburn’s Marlon Davidson share moment after game

No. 10 Florida pulled off an upset at home against No. 7 Auburn on Saturday afternoon, remaining unbeaten on the season.

However, there was a scary moment during the game, as Auburn DE Marlon Davidson went low on Florida QB Kyle Trask, injuring the quarterback’s knee. Trask played through it, though, and it was speculated after the game that he had a sprained MCL.

As you can see below, the hit looked brutal and Trask was clearly in a lot of pain:

After the game, Davidson and Trask met on the field and shared a moment, shaking hands and talking. The display of good sportsmanship was captured here:

Football is a brutal sport. It’s nice that Davidson and Trask had a chat and seemed to clear the air between them.
