Former Alabama DE Antonio Alfano left the program recently after being absent for several weeks.

The former 5-star defender was the top player in Alabama’s 2019 recruiting class, but he didn’t make an impact during his short time in Tuscaloosa.

Now, he’s on the move to the Pac-12. As you can see below, Colorado coach Mel Tucker announced via Twitter that Alfano would be a Buffalo next year:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Alfano was the No. 5 overall recruit in the class of 2019, the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of New Jersey.

How will he fare in Colorado? We’ll see if he’s cleared to play next season or if he has to sit out a year.
