The Philadelphia Eagles just won the Super Bowl, but they also lost their offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, to the Indianapolis Colts.

To fill his spot, coach Doug Pederson is promoting his wide receivers coach to offensive coordinator. That coordinator just so happens to be former Alabama assistant Mike Groh.

ESPN’s Tim McManus was the first to report the news on Tuesday morning:

Groh spent the 2011-12 seasons as Alabama’s WR coach, moving on to the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams and then the Eagles in the years since leaving Tuscloosa. The Crimson Tide won the national championship both of those seasons.

Titles seem to follow Groh wherever he goes, so he’ll try to help the Eagles defend theirs in the 2018-19 season this fall.
