Former Alabama defensive back Landon Collins has signed with the New York Giants and is on the way to London to be with his team, according to a report from Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.
Collins is expected to start on the practice squad.
He can be elevated to the practice squad twice on game days before he has to be signed to the 53-man roster. This is not Collins’ first stint with the Giants, though the team does not feature many of the veterans’ teammates anymore.
The former second-rounder has spent the past three seasons with the Washington Commanders, finishing out last year with 81 total tackles (51 solo), 3 sacks, 2 passes defended, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 interceptions.
Over the course of his 7-season career, Collins has recorded 676 tackles (482 solo), 39 passes defended, 11 interceptions, 10 sacks 7 forced fumbles and 5 fumble recoveries.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds as Collins looks to make a splash once more.

Landon Collins and the Giants are finalizing a deal now, I'm told. As @JosinaAnderson first reported, Collins headed to London now to be with the team. Most likely starts on practice squad.
