Former Alabama defensive back Tony Brown was cut by Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The 6-0, 199-pound cornerback had been signed by the Colts as a free agent in March.

Brown previously spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Chargers.
In 33 career NFL games, he accounted for 50 tackles, 6 pass defenses, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 forced fumbles. He also was a regular on special teams in each of his stops.
Brown appeared in 39 career games for the Crimson Tide from 2014-17. He recorded 86 tackles and 3 interceptions during his Alabama career.
Indianapolis opens its 2022 season on the road at Houston on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
