Mayden played defensive back for Alabama from 2016 to 2019. During his time with the Crimson Tide, he had 82 tackles, 4 interceptions, and a sack while playing in 36 games.
Mayden went undrafted and was signed by the San Francisco 49ers following the 2020 NFL Draft. Mayden’s role with the team was mainly on special teams, where he had a tackle against the New England Patriots in 2020 after playing 2 games.
It will be interesting to see where the former Alabama DB ends up, and if he will continue to be used on special teams.
