Sad news to report Tuesday as former Alabama defensive lineman Jeremy Nunley has died. He was 46.
News of his death is being reported by his Alabama teammates Mark McMillian and Jay Barker. Nunley was a member of the 1992 Alabama national championship team coached by Gene Stallings. The team was also the first victors of the SEC Championship Game, which debuted on Birmingham’s Legion Field.
His teammates ask for prayers for Nunley’s family, as he leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
