Former Alabama DL waived by Las Vegas Raiders

Damion Square could be on the move again. The former Alabama defender was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday.

Square has bounced around the NFL this year. After playing for the Chargers franchise from 2014-2020, he signed with the Cleveland Browns in May 2021. The Browns terminated Square’s contract on Aug. 19. On Aug. 27, he signed with the New Orleans Saints but was released 4 days later. Square signed to the Chicago Bears’ practice squad on Sep. 8. The Raiders signed Square off of the Chicago practice squad on Sep. 15.

With the Raiders, Square played in 6 games, including a start, recording 7 total tackles.
