Former Alabama linebacker Adonis Thomas has announced his transfer to Florida State, according to AL.com.
Thomas, who spent the 2015 season as a redshirt freshman at Alabama before leaving for Northwest Mississippi C.C. this summer, is a three-star recruit and the No. 2 inside linebacker among JUCO players from the ’17 class. He ultimately left the Tide due to playing concerns and is looking for more opportunity in Tallahassee.
Thomas had 73 tackles (10.5 for loss) with six sacks and an interception in his one season with the NMCC Rangers.
Special thanks to Coach Fisher and Coach Kelly for giving me the opportunity to become a part of the family!

Thomas made an unofficial visit to Ole Miss on Nov. 15 and had some strong interest from Mississippi State and Penn State as well.
