Former Alabama LB Jaylen Moody didn’t hear his name called during the 2023 NFL Draft, but it didn’t take him long to find an NFL opportunity after the festivities ended in Kansas City.

Like many undrafted players, Moody quickly found an NFL team to try out for as an undrafted free agent.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Moody will sign with the Cincinnati Bengals and attempt to make the team’s roster this preseason:

In 2022, Moody appeared in 10 games for the Crimson Tide, finishing seventh on the team with 50 total tackles. Eight of those tackles were for a loss, while Moody also compiled 2 sacks and a fumble recovery.

Moody will join fellow ex-Crimson Tide defender Jordan Battle in Cincinnati. Battle was the Bengals’ third-round pick on Friday night.
