There’s nothing quite like the Iron Bowl rivalry in college football.

Auburn and Alabama certainly have passionate fans and players, and the Iron Bowl continues to be one of the best games in the nation each year.

Unfortunately for Auburn fans, it has not been a great run of late for the Tigers. Nick Saban and the Tide have won five of the last six meetings including the last three. The Crimson Tide have also captured three national titles and a Heisman Trophy in that time span.

It is certainly a good time to be an Alabama fan, and ex-Crimson Tide OL Alphonse Taylor took a moment Tuesday to slam Auburn on Twitter:

Taylor played for Alabama from 2013-2016 and certainly knows a thing or two about the rivalry. He finished his college career with a 3-1 record against Auburn and a national championship.

Taylor’s comments did not reference anyone by name but could have been in reference to Byron Cowart’s decision to leave Auburn.
