Former Alabama running back Brian Robinson Jr. was the victim of a carjacking incident back in August that he was shot during and sustained non-life-threatening injuries from.
Robinson has been sidelined ever since and there was a chance he could miss significant time, but he’s now back on the field making his NFL debut just weeks after. Robinson has been out for roughly 6 weeks but got his chance to shine on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans in the first week he was eligible to return.
The Commanders rusher currently totals 2 carries for 7 yards while leading a team in rushing that has largely relied on the pass to this point as Washington leads Tennessee 10-7. He received a standing ovation from the crowd as he was able to finally show his stuff in front of the fans after experiencing immediate adversity in his transition.
