Former Alabama RB expected to sign with Atlanta Falcons, per report

Former Alabama running back Brian Robinson is expected to sign with the Atlanta Falcons, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Robinson, entering his 5th year in the NFL, spent last season in San Francisco with the 49ers.
The Falcons now have 2 running backs named B. Robinson on the roster, with Brian joining fellow former Texas running back Bijan Robinson in Atlanta.
Before he played for the 49ers, Robinson spent his first 3 years in the NFL with the Washington Commanders. He put together 3 solid seasons, totaling between 730 and 800 yards each year. For his career, Robinson has totaled over 2,700 yards rushing, 612 yards receiving and 22 total TDs.
According to Ian Rappoport, Robinson’s deal is for 1 year, worth $2.5 million. That’s a great price for the Falcons, who now get a solid depth piece to pair with one of the best young running backs in the game of football.
