Former Alabama RB scores first TD in Washington ‘Commanders’ history

Former Alabama RB Brian Robinson Jr. was the third-round pick of the Washington Commanders in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Now, as the Commanders (in their first year under that nickname) take on the Carolina Panthers in their preseason opener, Robinson is already making an impact.
As you can see below, Robinson plunged into the end zone from a yard out to give the “Commanders” their first touchdown in franchise history:

Robinson will compete for playing time in the Commanders’ backfield with Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic.
We’ll see if he can work his way into the rotation in 2022, but he’s off to a good start this week!
