Former Alabama recruiting director Leah Knight joins Texas A&M staff

On Feb. 26, it was reported that Alabama Director of Recruiting Leah Knight was stepping down to move closer to her fiance in Colorado. While she has moved further west, she has also landed further south in the process.
On Friday, Knight tweeted that she is now Director of Recruiting at Texas A&M.
“I now have the honor of being @AggieFootball’s Director of Recruiting! There was no way that I could turn down an opportunity to work on this staff, in this place, for this Head Coach! #GigEm” Knight’s tweet reads.
The tweet is accompanied by a photo of Knight posing by the Texas A&M logo.

Knight, an Alabama grad, held the same job at Colorado State before joining Nick Saban’s staff. Hiring Alabama recruiting staffers certainly looks like a smart move for Jimbo Fisher.
