Former Alabama S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been a big part of the Green Bay Packers’ defensive success this season. Because of that, he’s been selected to his first career Pro Bowl.
However, he told AL.com that he’s hoping he can’t play in that game. If the Packers make it to the Super Bowl, Clinton-Dix will have to skip the Pro Bowl:
“It’s a blessing. It’s an honor to be selected into the Pro Bowl this year,” Clinton-Dix said. “I’ve got bigger hopes than that right now. …
“I’m focused on bigger things than that right now. Hopefully, if it doesn’t work out, how things are planned, then I’ll be happy to play back in my hometown city.”
Of course, the Packers, who currently sport an 8-6 record, have a lot of work to do to even make the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl.
Still, if Clinton-Dix continues his outstanding season, in which he’s already recorded 65 tackles, forced a fumble and grabbed five interceptions, then the sky is the limit in Green Bay.
