Atlanta Falcons rookie receiver Calvin Ridley has agreed to his first NFL contract, his agency announced on Wednesday. The standard rookie contract for a rookie is four years with a team option for the fifth year. In his three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Ridley racked up 224 catches, 2,781 receiving yards and 19 scores, in addition to two national championships.

Ridley will team up with former Tide receiver Julio Jones in Atlanta to potentially form one of the best receiving duos in the NFL next season, giving Matt Ryan another option to challenge defenses at the game’s highest level.
