Former Alabama star running back Mark Ingram is officially making the move from the gridiron to the broadcast studio.

FOX Sports shared on Thursday that the Heisman Trophy winner is joining the network as an analyst for the new season. He’ll feature on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff show, joining Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, and Matt Leinart on the studio dais. Reggie Bush had previously worked on the show, but The New York Post reported last month that Bush was set to leave the network. In his place, FOX has found itself another former Heisman winner and New Orleans Saint.

On a 1-year deal last season, Ingram logged a career-low 62 rushing attempts after missing 7 of the Saints’ final 9 games because of a knee injury.

In 2019, Ingram was selected to his third Pro Bowl after running for 1,018 yards and 10 touchdowns in 15 games. He also hauled in 5 touchdown receptions. As a pro, the former first-round draft pick ran for 8,111 yards, caught another 2,125 yards, and scored a total of 75 touchdowns across 13 NFL seasons.

He won the Heisman in 2009 after his 1,658 yards and 17 rushing scores helped the Crimson Tide to an unbeaten season and a BCS national championship.

Going head-to-head with ESPN’s iconic College GameDay, the Big Noon Kickoff show has generated plenty of steam since its creation in 2019. Rob Stone hosts the program, which begins at 10 a.m. E.T. and leads into FOX’s premier game of the week.
