Former Alabama teammates Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Eddie Lacy have playful exchange ahead of Week 1 showdown
When free agent running back Eddie Lacy signed with Seattle this offseason, he probably figured his playing days in Green Bay had come to an end. Stealing a line from Lee Corso, not so fast my friend. As fate would have it, the Seahawks open the 2017 regular season against the Packers at Lambeau Field Sunday, Sept. 10.
While Lacy’s “homecoming” to Green Bay next season will be a short one, his former NFL and college teammate Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is already eagerly anticipating the matchup — at least according to his Twitter activity. The two players recently had a playful back and forth exchange discussing the Week 1 game.
Lacy started the thread with this tweet:
You said we’re playing the Packers week one? pic.twitter.com/mEpj8MYOwB

The two NFL players were, of course, teammates at Alabama from 2011-2012. The Tide won national championships both of those seasons. The two former Tide players reunited in Green Bay starting with the 2014 NFL season.
