Former Alabama WR Jameson Williams has quite the knack for delivering the big play.

Williams got the Detroit on the board first in the NFC Championship Game, breaking off a 42-yard TD run to give the Lions a 7-0 lead against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Crimson Tide fans remember Williams for his big plays as a pass-catcher, but on Sunday, the wideout showed what he can do as a ball-carrier. Williams’ run capped a 4-play, 75-yard opening drive.

The 1st-quarter TD is the first playoff score of Williams’ pro career. In the first two games of the Lions’ postseason, Williams totaled 4 catches for 54 yards on 6 targets in the wins over the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers to reach the conference championship game. Williams last recorded a carry in the Dec. 30 regular-season loss against the Dallas Cowboys.
