Former Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams and the Detroit Lions are facing off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11. The speedy WR returned to the Lions in Week 1o after missing 2 games due to a suspension.

Last weekend, Williams was eased into the game plan in his first game back. This weekend, however, the speedster is showing he is still a vital part of this offense.

Shortly after the 3rd quarter began, Williams caught a pass from Jared Goff and took it to the house for a 64-yard score. Williams caught the pass over the middle of the field and then raced to the outside and ran to the end zone untouched.

The WR then did the legendary Marshawn Lynch celebration from the “Beast Quake” run.

The score was Williams’ first since returning from suspension and his 4th of the season. Heading into Week 11, Williams had 20 catches for 414 yards and 3 scores. The WR has already surpassed his 2023 yardage total and has developed into a key piece of this offense.

With around 11 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, Williams and the Lions had a massive 49-6 lead over the Jaguars. To that point in the game, Williams had 4 catches for 124 yards and 1 score. With a win appearing inevitable, the Lions will improve to 9-1 on the season.

Williams was drafted by the Lions in the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft. At Alabama, Williams caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards with 15 TDs in his lone season with the Crimson Tide.
