Former Alabama WR Jameson Williams seen handing out turkeys to Detroit PAL

A former Alabama wide receiver is making a positive Thanksgiving impact in his NFL community. Detroit Lions rookie Jameson Williams handed out turkeys along with his family to the Detroit PAL on the eve of the holiday.
Detroit PAL is a youth organization partnered with the Detroit police department that provides developmental programs in leadership, athletics and education.

Kudos to Williams for making such a wonderful difference in the area.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Williams (knee) is coming off of the reserve/non-football injury list. The Lions selected Williams with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
During his lone season in Tuscaloosa, Williams was chosen as a First-Team All-American as he amassed 79 receptions for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns. Williams was also the SEC’s co-Special Teams Player of the Year. Williams tore his ACL during the 2022 national title game.
Williams began his college career with two seasons at Ohio State in which he tallied a total of 15 receptions for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Williams’ Lions will host the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving (12:30 p.m. ET/CBS).
