Though the Atlanta Falcons cruised to an easy 45-32 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night, former Alabama WR Julio Jones was non-existent, recording only one catch for 16 yards.

Some questioned whether the star receiver was hurt, but according to AJC.com, he says he’s OK:

“I’m not injured or anything like that,” Jones said on Thursday.

Though many fantasy owners might disagree, the important thing, Jones noted, is that the Falcons won:

“That’s my job,” Jones said. “(Defensive) coordinators are going to try to take me away or they are going to put two guys on me or three guys depending on who we are playing. So, I’m doing my job. That’s all that I can do and we are winning. As long as we are winning football games and they are doing that, I’m happy with it and playing my role.”

Jones will have a chance to prove he’s not hurt on Sunday afternoon, when the Falcons host the Carolina Panthers at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
