Former Alabama wide receiver Richard Mullaney signed with the Cleveland Browns on Monday, the team announced on its website.
After going undrafted following his senior year at Alabama, Mullaney originally signed with the Texans as a free agent. He also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys during training camp.
Prior to transferring to Alabama for his final college season, the 6-foot-2, 204-pound pass catcher played three years at Oregon State. During his four-year college career, Mullaney caught 121 passes for 1,550 yards and 10 touchdowns. He made 38 of those receptions for 390 yards and five touchdowns during his final year for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama players dominate NFL rosters; however, according to the team’s official roster, Mullaney is the only former Crimson Tide player currently on the Browns.
