Arkansas backup running back Josh Oglesby, who hit the transfer portal earlier this season, has found a new home.

Oglesby will be heading to Stephen F. Austin next year. SFA is located in Oglesby’s home state of Texas and is just a few hours away from his hometown of Katy.

He announced the news via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon:

When asked about Oglesby transferring, Hogs head coach Sam Pittman said this, via Rivals.com:

“I have a high respect for him,” he said. “It was, ‘Coach, I know my situation on the depth chart. I’ve got a lot of speed. I think I can go help somebody and play. I know where I’m at here. What do you think?’ And I said, ‘I think that’s exactly what the portal’s for.’”

Oglesby only played in 2 games this year for Arkansas.
