Things were certainly ugly for Auburn against Clemson.

During AU’s 84-53 blowout loss to Clemson in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, fans took to social media to sound off on the Tigers. At one point, Auburn was losing by 40. How does that happen?

Former Auburn head coach, and current Kentucky assistant, Tony Barbee even took to Twitter to troll the Tigers with an emoji.

Ouch.

Barbee coached at Auburn for four seasons, and he was fired on March 12, 2014 after losing to South Carolina in the SEC Tournament. Over four seasons, Barbee’s record was an embarrassing 49-75 (.395). He still owns the lowest winning percentage of any Auburn head coach that coached two or more seasons.

Bruce Pearl was hired to replace Barbee on March 18, 2014.
